In short:
- No account, no sign-up.
- Your logs, settings, sleep entries and inventory stay on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
- Purchases go through Apple. RevenueCat handles subscription status.
- Free users see ads served by Google AdMob. Subscribers see none.
- Your Apple Health data never reaches us, is not used for advertising and is not sold.
1. Who we are
BrewTrack: Coffee Tracker (“BrewTrack”) is an iPhone app published under the brand Turunc Soft. The controller is Turunc Soft, Oba Mah. Alkü Hastane Cad. Ofis 2020 İş Merkezi No:8, 07400 Alanya / Antalya, Türkiye. Email: hello@turuncsoft.com. The registered title and tax details are provided on request at hello@turuncsoft.com.
This policy covers the BrewTrack app and this website. A separate, more detailed notice for users in Türkiye is available in Turkish: KVKK Aydınlatma Metni.
2. Data that stays on your device
The following is stored only on your device and is not sent to us:
- Your coffee and drink logs and caffeine amounts
- Your settings, daily caffeine limit and language
- Your sleep entries
- Your inventory: beans, machines, cups and backdrops you bought, and the name you put on your cup
BrewTrack does not ask for an account, an email address or a phone number. We have no access to this data.
3. Purchases and subscription
The BrewTrack Premium subscription (weekly or yearly) is bought through Apple. Apple handles your card and payment details. We never see them.
To verify subscription status and restore purchases we use RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase receipts and subscription status, and basic device and country information. Its policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
4. Ads
Free users see ads served by Google AdMob: optional rewarded ads and rare interstitials. To serve and measure ads Google may process your IP address and device and diagnostic information. It may use your advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow it in Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you do not allow it, non-personalised ads are shown.
In the EU and UK, where required, Google’s consent form (UMP) is shown. You can change your choice later in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Subscribers see no ads. Google’s policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
5. Notifications
Reminders (a Premium feature) are scheduled locally on your device. No data leaves your device for them. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings > Notifications > BrewTrack.
6. Apple Health
Apple Health sync is a Premium feature. It is off by default and only asks permission when you turn it on. BrewTrack writes the caffeine you log (dietary caffeine samples) to Apple Health and reads sleep analysis.
This data stays on your device and in Apple Health. It is never sent to us, never used for advertising and never sold. You can revoke access any time in iOS Settings > Health.
7. Analytics and tracking
BrewTrack has no analytics SDK. Apart from the ad SDK described above, there is no third-party tracking.
8. Children
BrewTrack is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Retention
Data stays on your device until you delete the app or its data. We hold no user data on our servers. RevenueCat and Google operate under their own policies.
10. Processing outside your country
Apple, RevenueCat and Google may process data in countries outside Türkiye or your own country. For users in Türkiye, see the Turkish KVKK notice for details.
11. Your rights and deleting your data
Because your data lives on your device, you can access and delete it yourself: delete the app and all local data is removed. You can delete caffeine entries written to Apple Health in the Health app. For any other request, write to hello@turuncsoft.com.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes are published on this page and the date above is updated.
